Drop in

At present Albion House has a computer room, activity room, lounge and quiet room, and can be used as a drop-in during set hours. It is a safe place, where people can relax, stay for all or part of the drop in time, and take a break from the stresses of everyday life.

The computer room contains two internet-accessible computers, which also have Microsoft Office software.  The activity room has table tennis, musical instruments and the games consoles; a playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 set up.  We also have a library which will stock autism-specific books and magazines. The library is open to people with autism, their families or carers and other organisations with an interest in the autistic spectrum.

Drop In Times

Monday        3pm – 6pm

Tuesday        11am – 5pm

Wednesday  12pm – 8pm

Friday           12pm – 5pm

First Saturday of the month 11am – 2pm and third Saturday of the month 12pm – 3pm (see calendar for dates)

Outside of these times, use of the building is by arrangement only, and people should contact a member of staff to book the use of any facilities.

Caithness Drop In: This is a monthly drop in held at Stepping Stones in Thurso from 5.30pm – 7.30pm.  The date will vary depending on availability of the venue so refer to the monthly activity calendar for the date.  There is a range of activities offered, including, pool, arts and crafts and gaming.  For more information please contact Kirsten Smail on 01463 717649 or email kirsten.smail@aiscotland.org.uk

Skye Drop In: This is a monthly drop in held on the second Monday of every month at the Skye YMCA in Portree from 2.30pm – 4.30pm and there is various activities on offer, including, table tennis, air hockey, pool and gaming.   For more information please contact Kirsten Smail on 01463 717649 or email kirsten.smail@aiscotland.org.uk
